snail vases
Snails seem evolutionarily improbable: so slow, so shapeless, so easily squashed. These snail vases have a similar vulnerability to them, but they are, in fact, quite strong – and waterproof to boot, thanks to a mixture of resin and beeswax. Adaptable in shape, they use discarded objects for support, deriving their strength in part from the strength of others.
