Steel, sand, silica and incredible heat yield a solid, organic shape, its surface ragged where it was cut off from the blowpipe. This unpredictable, uneven area would be a glassblower’s nightmare but makes for a dream of a lamp: illuminated from below, Lens Light produces an unexpectedly gorgeous play of light and shadow on walls and ceilings. Bubble Light is switched on by simply touching the steel frame. Each lens is unique; each of them offers pure movement, frozen in time and space, caught in glass.
