Lightness Of Being is a giant flexible lamp. The inside is full of technique though its look refers to a giant flower like from Alice in wonderland. To switch the light I pull the felt over the stem and the 'flower' closes, and so does the light...

The movement of the lamp is based upon the reaction of flowers to light. This is a real extreem position. The base is up to 75kg, the stem weights only 700 grams. Note this is equal to only 1% of its total weight.
